If you accept garbage, they will ship you garbage.
I was unloading a truckload of plants at my first high school job when I heard these words.
This old guy was inspecting the plants being delivered and rejecting about 25% of them as shit.
Theres a much deeper lesson here than just rejecting lousy plants.

First lets talk about product quality. Ive sold products my entire career. Most were not new the real profits were always in the store returns, excess, scratch and dent, etc.
I love that world.
But the product condition is subjective. One person's like new or A/B grade is another person's trash.
The solution?
Detailed Manifests
Require your supplier to provide you with a detailed manifest with this:
Quantity
Condition(New, New open box, New no box, Store Return, A/B, C/D, Defective, Salvage, etc.)
Description
Model name or number
Reader, DONT DO IT!
Theres a reason there is no manifest.
With no manifest, there is no accountability or recourse for problems.
And there will be problems there always are.
I just had a follower message me about buying some products from Costco store returns.
These items were listed as A/B condition.
Thats not what showed up.
I immediately suggested they open a case because the product was not as described.
If there were no manifest, no condition listed they would be screwed.
But Costco is great to work with. They will make this right for the buyer.
If you accept garbage, they will ship you garbage.
This is also a good tip about life in general lets say it another way:
If you let people treat you like garbage, they will always treat you like garbage.
But thats another post entirely.
Have a great week!
