Unconventional Entrepreneur

The first computer-related product I bought for resale were laser printers. Why did I buy them?
Because it was the only deal I could find.
I was determined to enter the Apple computer business, but everything else I wanted to buy was too expensive. The laser printers were boring and they were ignored.
I was so excited. I was also so inexperienced.
Nobody wanted my laser printers. No matter how much I lowered the price.
Then I noticed something strange. The logic boards inside the printers were selling for more than I was trying to sell my entire printer.
What?
I had just learned a crucial lesson about the parts being more valuable than the whole.

Before:Apple Laser Printer: $899
After:Apple Laser Printer Logic Board: $899
Apple Laser Printer Engine: $499
I sold all those laser printer logic boards within a few days, and the engines sold quickly after that.
I used this strategy to generate millions in sales and employ hundreds of people over the next 20 years.
Looking at things from a different, unconventional angle can make you rich. What can you do differently that others are ignoring?
I meet with Entrepreneurs all the time. Its one of the best parts of my day.
Last week, I had five meetings that all left two distinct ideas in my brain:
1. Entrepreneurship can be incredibly lonely.
2. Connecting with other Entrepreneurs is a shortcut to success. Lets tackle loneliness first.
For the sake of this topic, lets call the non-entrepreneurs civilians.
Entrepreneurs have a completely different mindset than civilians. They have to.
Different:
Each of the five business owners I spoke to last week said essentially the same thing: Civilians look at me like Im nuts if I start explaining risk, systems, my outlook, and my problems.
This amplifies the feeling of loneliness.
The answer? Connecting with current or aspirational Entrepreneurs.
Act Now this is all on you. Send the DMs and book the discovery call. Get out of your head and into the conversation with others.
Youll be glad you did!
Selling is not enough.
Selling on Marketplaces like eBay, Poshmark, and others is a shortcut to success.
But you cant stop at just selling.
A few weeks ago I wrote about how to increase your chances of success by getting involved.
How do I know it works?
