I know I sound like Tony Robbins - but hear me out.
You can activate this switch inside your head by taking small actions. Ill explain how this works, share some examples from my life, and then give you some ideas for how you can activate your own switch.
I call it the $1000 Brain Switch.

When I was in college, I needed to make some extra cash. My buddies and I were into trucks and learned how to buy low and sell a little higher in our college town.
It took about 5 sales before we created a system where we made $1000 per truck that we sold.
That $1000 flipped my switch.

The $1K switch was just what I needed to start thinking differently about how my life could work.
With that first $1000, my brain learned:
I didnt need to ask anyones permission to try something new.
I didnt need a lot of money to make money.
Nothing horrific would happen if I failed.
When I made mistakes, I could try again and again.
We are moist robots, and we can program our brains to get the desired results. The key to the $1000 Brain Switch is removing the limits we and society set for ourselves.
That first $1000 allowed me to Escape Employment, and Ive been building companies ever since.
If you already own a business, your switch has been flipped. Maybe. Ive owned 10, and I still get excited when something new begins to generate money.
For those of you who are pushing yourself to find that first $1000 Brain Switch, here are some ideas:
Buy low, sell higher - the oldest game in town: One of the reasons my Auction Madness posts are so popular is that I am sharing opportunities - its not easy money, but it can be very profitable and if nothing else, it can activate your $1000 Brain Switch.

Sell Your Talent:Are you artistic, crafty, or handy? You should sell on Etsy to activate your $1000 Brain Switch. Ive experimented with Etsy with steampunk light fixtures, cloud lights, and other stuff. I am NOT artistic. ;-) One of my favorite side hustles is selling prints on top of old book pages. For example, this fish image printed on an old dictionary page is brilliant! Etsy sellers are selling thousands each month for $10 each. Thats a Brain Switch!

Sell Your Expertise:Have you heard of Miss Excel? Kat Norton wanted to Escape Employment, so she started posting online about what she knew best: Microsoft Excel. It took her a couple of years to get attention, but she has now generated over $2M in earnings from her knowledge. Kat earns money from advertising, sponsors, courses, and more. She has flipped her switch!
Who would have thought you could make millions of dollars sharing information about something as dull (for me, anyway) as Excel?
Getting started and generating small amounts of money can be the switch that flips your brain into entrepreneurship.
But you have to DECIDE to do it. Its not enough to WANT it.
Make a list today of ways you can generate money with the skills, interest, and expertise that you already have.
